Vladimir Fomichev
(Russia) 'When you come across Vladimir Fomichov’s art, you are mostly amazed by variety
of forms and decisions in creation of each series of works. His artistic search is continuous, allegorical and at the same
time very precise. Improvising, the artist expresses philosophical judgment of life and human nature. Creating picturesque
pieces the artist uses elements typical for graphic works and in his graphic pieces one can see a hand of the painter. Stressing
certain details, the artist never forgets about the overall picture. Emphasizing the rhythmic beginning in the compositions,
using generalization of the subject and mostly monochromatic palette, the artist creates the world full of characters, subjects
and life.'
